Yeditepe University Specialized Hospital celebrates "March 8 International Women’s Day" with two different activities.

The first event is the "Women in Business" exhibition organized by the Association of Istanbul Photograph and Cinema Amateurs (IFSAK). The exhibition, opened on the third floor in the lobby of the hospital on March 7th, consists of photographs by women of the IFSAK Women's Unit of women who work at jobs mostly done by men such as football referee, auto bodywork, shoemaking, and bus driving. The exhibition, which aims to draw attention to the difficulties women experience in their professional lives, will be open until 9 March.




Women's Footprint in Nephrology

Yeditepe University Specialized Hospital is holding a panel on "Women's Footprints in Nephrology" on the evening of March 8 due to the fact that 9 March is "World Kidney Day". At the panel moderated by Yeditepe University Specialized Hospital Internal Diseases Department head Prof. Dr. Gülçin Kantarcı, Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital Nephrology Expert Prof. Dr. Zerrin Biçik Bahçebaşı will give a speech on "Kidney Problems in Women" and Florance Nightingale Hospital Nephrology Expert Prof. Dr. Tevfik Ecder will give a speech titled "We Need to Say New Things".
