Thanks to the organization of the Chinese Consulate General in İstanbul, faculty and student representatives from 20 Turkish universities visited Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, three cities in China on June 10-18, 2017.
Vice Chair of the Science Institute Associate Professor İpek Karaaslan and Ms. Begüm Uğurlu, a student in the Department of Business Administration at Yeditepe University, took part in the group visit.
The group visited Beijing Foreign Studies University and had a seminar with the students in the Department of Turkish Language. Visits were also paid to China Radio International, Office of International Affairs of Shanghai Municipal City and some cultural and historical sites.
Along with Yeditepe University, the group members represented İstanbul University, Boğaziçi University, Okan University, Koç University and Sabancı University.
