'Yeditepe EpilepsiSiz' Project which aims at raising awareness about epilepsy and providing information about the diagnosis and treatment of the illness, won the Special Jury Prize at the 3rd Golden Stethoscope Awards Ceremony organized on 8 May 2015 in Haliç Congress Centre by the Health-Care Informatics Association of Turkey.
The project was implemented with the support of Prof. Dr. Gazi Yaşargil, faculty member of Yeditepe University and “Brain Surgeon of the Century”; Prof. Dr. Canan Bingöl, Yeditepe University Board of Trustees Chairperson and Professor in Neurology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Yencilek, the chief doctor of Yeditepe University Hospital; Prof. Dr. Berrin Aktekin, Head of the Department of Neurology and Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe Head of the Department of Neurosurgery.
