Success of our Department of Mechanical Engineering 2010 Alumni Arman Köklü

Our 2010 Alumni from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Arman Köklü has been chosen as one of the 50 young project leaders by Project Management Institute (PMI) as one that the company believes they will shape the future.

PMI was established in the US in 1969 and is active in the fields such as university – industry collaboration in project management, education, standardization and professional approach. The list, in which there are 13 young talents from Europe and North America each, includes Finland Prime Minister Sanna Marin, enviromental activist Greta Thunberg, people working for national and multinational institutions such as British Ministry of Justice, IBM, Google, Airbus and Panasonic. Working at General Electric (GE) in Switzerland, Arman Köklü has been included in the list as he took responsibility in many of GE’s projects around the world that provides energy to those countries.
