The winner of the competition “'birFİKRİNmiVAR?' is from Yeditepe University!
Serim Berke Vardar, student at the Department of Mechanical won the first prize in the competition “'birFİKRİNmiVAR?' Our student won the prize with an eco-friendly screening machine which reduces energy consumption by 60%.
Serim Berke explained that the machine was designed for the mining and recycling industries and added that it could also be used in agricultural, food and even chemistry industries. Vardar gave the following details about the machine: “The machine can separate materials depending on their size. Additionally the humidity problem seen in screening machines is reduced by 40%.”
Our student who was selected as the winner among hundreds of participants was also awarded a KOSGEB support.
