The third of the "Canadian English Summer Camp" organized by Yeditepe University in collaboration with Waterloo University-Renison College was held in Ontario between 30 July and 24 August 2018.
High school and university students from Turkey received a total of 100 hours of intensive English lessons together with students from all over the world in 4 weeks from Canadian Waterloo University academics. The camp aimed to help students love English, give support for pre-college preparatory processes, and have the opportunity to get to know a different culture.
In addition to language training, students had the opportunity to learn about Canadian culture by visiting the Toronto CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland Amusement Park and the St. Jakobs Bazaar. In their spare time, students also had fun with activities such as Mini Golf Tour, Bonfire Party, Laser Quest Game, and Bowling.
The students at the camp were accompanied by English Instructor Elçin Çıkrık from Yeditepe University Preparatory School during the whole program.
The camp ended with a certificate ceremony by the University of Waterloo.
