9 members of Yeditepe University who took part in the Turkish team of 159 people participating to the 28th Summer Universiade

The 28th Summer Universiade which is the second largest sport event worldwide after the Olympic Games, was held in the city of Gwangju, South Korea, from July 3 to July 14, 2015. Yeditepe University was represented by 9 members who took part in the Turkish team of 159 people representing our country: Taner Karabulut, leader of the water polo team; Vahap Algın, assistant coach of water polo team; Renin Gemicioğlu, coach of swimming team; Vahit Zorlu, assistant coach of the handball team; water polo players Alican Çağatay, Yağız Atakan Gedik; swimmers Doğa Çelik, İskender Başlakov and Yalım Acımış.
