The 3rd International Dyslexia Congress was held in collaboration with Yeditepe University Improvement and Disabled Research and Practice Center and Turkish Dyslexia Association

The 3rd International Dyslexia Congress was held in collaboration with Yeditepe University Improvement and Disabled Research and Practice Center and Turkish Dyslexia Association at Yeditepe University on June 4th-5th, 2016. Six panels and workshops were arranged with the support of experts and academicians throughout the congress of which opening speech was made by Yeditepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl, Dean of Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Ayşe S. Akyel and Head of Turkish Dyslexia Association Elif Yavuz. The participants also shared their independent presentations.

The prominent scientists in the fields of health and education delivered various presentations aiming the diagnosis of dyslexia and offering appropriate education  possibilities to increase knowledge and awareness at the congress of which participants make up a large part of educators and parents.

Thanks to the congress, Turkish Dyslexia Association and Akademidisleksi declared Yeditepe University as a Dyslexia-friendly School and welcame it to its projects.
