Yeditepe University Communication Agency (İIa) Opened

Yeditepe University Communications Agency (ILA), established to bring out the talented students in the Faculty of Communication and to adapt them to teamwork, will provide both students with a practical environment and make student productions visible through festivals and competitions.

Yeditepe University, which aims to prepare its students for their professional life by giving emphasis to their academic studies through practical trainings, will increase its prestige in the communication sector with the Communication Agency established within the Faculty of Communication.

Within this "Communication Agency", students will gain more experience while studying to make it easier for them to find jobs after graduation and to adapt to their professions. In addition, students who will participate in Agency courses on behalf of their departments will work under the supervision of practitioner teachers. The Communications Agency has a total of 32 MAC computers, barcodes, sound systems, meeting offices and lounges.

In her speech at the opening of Communication Agency, Yeditepe University Rector Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl said: "Today is a very important day for us. I am very happy that we are opening the "Communication Agency" of our Communication Faculty. We have created an unusual agency. We have founded an agency that will be a starting point in the lives of our students.”

The agency will also accept work from outside​

Speaking at the opening of the Communication Agency, Faculty of Communication Dean Dr. İlker Cenan Biçakcı stated that they are in great joy of founding the Communication Agency project, which not only deals with the present but also the future. He added "Another immediate target is that the Agency becomes professional and starts to accept work from outside. When we reach this goal, it will be possible to pay for the labor of our students working at the Agency. As a result of the agency's work, the achievements in competitions and festivals will benefit both our students' career and our university."
