Yeditepe University rewards its outstanding students with financial aid and scholarship opportunities which include AEP (Abroad Education Programs) MS (Post-graduate) programs, free housing, meal cards. Yeditepe, with all the opportunities provided to students within the campus borders, continues its leadership role among other private universities.
Yeditepe University provides privileged scholarship opportunities to its successful students. These scholarships given to students who are placed to a scholarship quota program covers the time period of Compulsory School of Foreign Language Programs and continues till the end of their undergraduate time period which is extended to 9 semesters in four-year-long programs, 11 semesters in 5-year- long programs, 14 semesters in 6-year-long undergraduate programs regardless of their academic success. In the event that these students choose to study two majors during their undergraduate program, this time period is extended for one more semester.
Students who ranked in YGS in MF,TS,TM groups and placed in our university as per their preference, scholarship will be paid for the students monthly for 9 months in cash; 1.250,00 TL for those within the first 100, 1.000,00 TL for those between the first 101 and 500, 750,00 TL for those between the first 501 and 1000, 500,00 TL for those between 1001 and 2000.
Dining Scholarship
Students who ranked in the top 10.000 in one of the score types MF, TS, TM in YGS or in the top 100 in the score type DİL-1, and who are placed to a department with the same score type as per their first five preference are qualified to get a dining scholarship for a 9-month-long period of time.
Students in the top 100 in the score type DİL-1,and placed in a program are paid 500,00 TL during the compulsory school of foreign language program till the end of their undergraduate program.
Housing Scholarship
In addition to these aids, students who are ranked in any of the MF, TS, TM groups in the top 5000 (200 in the score type DİL-1) and placed in one of the departments if are willing to stay in dormitories are offered free accomodation in double rooms, and students who wish not to benefit from dormitory services are provided with free intercampus shuttles, and free use of gyms in social facilities complex throughout their prep school and undergraduate education period.
Students who ranked in the top 15.000 in one of the score types MF, TS, TM in YGS, and placed in one of the departments in the Faculty of Engineering ranking in the top 20.000 are offered free accomodation in four-person rooms, and students who wish not to benefit from dormitory services are provided with free intercampus shuttles, and free use of gyms in social facilities complex throughout their prep school and undergraduate education period.
Overseas Education Opportunities
The students who were selected within the top 15.000 in the YGS according to MF, TS and TM type of score (within the top 200 according to DİL-1 type of score) are granted, if conditions are provided, the possibility of primarily attending one semester at the universities’ international students exchange programs which our university has signed protocol with in the USA, Canada and Europe.
Post Graduate Support
If graduated as the highest ranked student from the program, the student is given the opportunity to study with 100% scholarship in the post graduate programs of the university; if ranked second, 50% scholarship is provided; if ranked third, 25% scholarship is provided.
Bachelor’s Degree, Abitur, Matura, Maturita and French Bachelor’s Degree
Students whose International Bachelor’s Diploma Degree is 32 plus; whose ABITUR Diploma Degree is 2,0 plus; whose MATURA Diploma Degree is 2,0 plus, whose MATURITA Diploma Degree is 80 plus and whose French Bachelor’s Diploma degree is at least 14 (equivalent to 70 given in Turkish high schools), are given a 25% discount provided that they are placed into a quota that has to be paid for which is within their first 5 (five) preferences.
Scholarship Opportunities provided for İSTEK Schools Graduates
If students who studied at İSTEK Foundation High Schools for at least (3) three years and received a diploma; or if students who got their diploma after studying at İSTEK Primary and Secondary Schools for at least (5) five years are placed into a program within their first 5 (five) preferences, their education fee exemption is 25% for those applicants who are placed into quotas without scholarship. The education fee exemption for those students who are placed with a 25% scholarship quota is raised to 50%; for those who are placed with a 50% scholarship quota, it is raised to 75%; those who are placed with a full scholarship quota are given a food scholarship extra to their education fee exemption.
The education fee of children whose parents are permanent staff of İstek Foundation institutions and Yeditepe University is 50% of the actual fee.
Scholarships in two different categories cannot be combined, the higher one will be valid.
