The Bests of 2015 were proclaimed as a result of the questionnaires which were conducted by Yeditepe University Share My Dream Community. People who were granted an award for art, sports, media and internet categories received their awards in the ceremony arranged at Yeditepe University. Dreams of 8 more children will come true thanks to the revenue of 20 thousand TL received from the award ceremony.
Yeditepe University Share My Dream Community who are the university representatives of Make A Wish Turkey Associaton produce some projects which make the dreams of children who suffer from serious diseases between ages 3-18 come true all the year round. Share My Dream Community which has given hopes to children and struggled for more since 2009 chooses the Bests of the Year by the questionnaires organized traditionally every year. The revenue which is received in Wish Awards Ceremony provides financial opportunities for the projects of association.
Founding President of Yeditepe University Bedrettin Dalan who made the opening speech said that ‘ I had a dream when I was 15. My dream was to have an educational institution. This dream of mine came true. The greatest dream I had was you. I am very happy to be with you. Truths can not come true without dreams. You should run after your dreams.’
According to the questionnaire results which were conducted by our students, many valuable names were granted an award for the art, sports, media and internet categories this year as well.
