Yeditepe Model United Nations Club Visits NATO Allied Land Forces Command

Yeditepe University Model United Nations Club (YMUN) visited a NATO Allied Land Forces Command with a team of 13 people.

The YMUN team was met by German Colonel Dr. Ferdi Akaltin and Senior Manager Mehmet Aykut, and taken to the meeting room for the session. Information about NATO Allied Land Forces Command were given and partnerships and joint projects were put discussed in the session with representatives of NATO member states Germany, United States, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Canada, Greece and NATO and NATO partners Azerbaijan, Sweden and Kazakhstan. During the question-and-answer session of the visit, YMUN members had the chance to direct questions to the representatives of many of the countries.

After the session, YMUN Chairman Onuralp Acar conveyed plaques of thanks to the Allied Land Forces Commander while Protocol Department of NATO Allied Land Forces Command official Alper Alpugan, who previously served as YMUN Board Chairman, pledged a plaque of thanks to YMUN Chairman Acar.
