In the first quarter of 2022, 560 minutes have been spent talking on the phone. Turkey has been ranked the first among European countries with this time of usage. Member of the Department of Advertising Design and Communication at the Faculty of Communication at Yeditepe University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Cevdet Panayırcı evaluated the case on Haber Global TV channel. Emphasizing that this situation should not only be viewed as a negative case, Panayırcı said; “It is not ideal to use a mobile phone this much, yet it is nice to stay in touch”.
