Turkish History and Culture to be discussed at this Symposium

In order to reduce the mistakes made in Turkish historiography and in order to bring together academics and researchers who are experts on Turkish history and culture, the "1st International Turkish Culture and History Symposium "will be held between the dates of 19-21 April at the Yeditepe University 26 August Campus.

The international symposium will bring together 187 academics who are experts in their fields. All presentations will be made in English, Russian and Turkish in the symposium where all scientists, academics, researchers, experts working in the field of Turkish history and culture, as well as students, teachers and those interested in Turkish history will be able to participate.

Two Special Sessions

On April 19th, there will be two special opening sessions of which the first session will be the "Servet Somuncuoğlu" special session. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tasagil's will be chairmain in the sessions attended by speakers Karcaubay Sartqocaoğlu, Gleb Kubarev, Erdenebold Lkhagvasüren, Vedat Onar and Sebahattin Küçük. At the "Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kafesoğlu" special session, Dr. Tuncer Gülensoy will be chairmain and Salih Dogan, Gaybullah Babayer, Talas Omarbekov, and Zainolla Samashev will participate as speakers.
