Yeditepe University Political Science and International Relations (English) Head of the Department Prof. Dr. Cengiz Erişen was awarded in the field of Social Sciences by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) organized in order to encourage outstanding young scientists.
The 2018 TÜBITAK and TUBA Awards Ceremony was held on December 26 at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey Grand National Assembly Chairman Binali Yıldırım, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal.
At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Cengiz Erişen, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yeditepe University received the “TÜBİTAK Incentive Award” in the field of Social Sciences.
Highly Qualified Studies on an International Level
Prof. Dr. Cengiz Erişen was awarded the TÜBİTAK Incentive Award for his “highly qualified international studies in the field of political science and political psychology“. The award is given to academicians under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to science. Prof. Dr. Cengiz Erişen continues his studies in the fields of “Political Psychology”, “Political Behaviour”, “Methodology of Political Science” and “Comparative Politics” at Yeditepe University.
