Spring at Yeditepe celebrated at SpringFest'18

Performances by Sıla, Mabel Matiz, Yüksek Sadakat, Ceylan Ertem and Berkay made a lasting impression at Yeditepe University Spring Fest'18'.

Yeditepe University was filled with fun at the Spring Fest'18 between 2-4 May. The students shook off the year's stress and enjoy the spring with performances, games, and competitions by student clubs, and concerts by Sıla, Mabel Matiz, Yüksek Sadakat, Ceylan Ertem and Berkay.

On the first day of the festival at the 26 August campus, concerts by the rhythm group, C Block, NBB, Ece Barak, Eksi Dört, Lemniscate, Fermuar, İkibekseksenler and Birileri took place. After a dance and DJ performance, film screenings were held at the open air cinema by the Yeditepe University Cinema Club.

Students crowded the concert area

DJ performances continued throughout the day on the second day of the festival, and later Mabel Matiz and Ceylan Ertem took the stage. On the third and final day of the festival, the students were treated with performances by Sıla, Yüksek Sadakat and Berkay. Almost all the songs were accompanied by students who crowded the concert area.

Student Clubs Spiced up the Festival

The student clubs of Yeditepe University spiced up the event with booths they opened at the festival area for three days. Yeditepe University Make a Wish Volunteers Club organized a backgammon tournament while the Yeditepe Eagles American Football Team participated in the festival with a parkour competition. The Entrepreneurship Club collected toys and books within the Map of Needs project. Furthermore, barbecue stands were set up by sponsor companies to introduce students to new tastes.

In addition, Pal FM live broadcast the event for three days.
