THE ONLY FEMALE PROFESSOR FROM TURKEY AT EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF PERIODONTOLOGY MASTER CLINIC FROM YEDITEPE UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF DENTISTRY
The 2nd EFP Master Clinic meeting, organized by the European Periodontics Federation (EFP), took place on March 3-4, 2017 with more than 500 participants. At the Congress, 'Peri-implant disease treatments and preventive approaches' were discussed. Run by the Turkish Periodontology Association, the scientific meeting was held at the Mediterranean Congress Center in Malta.
Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry Head of Department of Periodontology, EFP Program Director of Periodontology and previous Turkish Periodontology Association Chair Prof. Dr. Bahar Eren Kuru, Prof. Dr. N. Lang, Prof. Dr. G. Salvi and Prof. Dr. N. Zitzman moderated the conferences. At the closing of the Congress, outcomes were discussed and evaluated together with Prof. Dr. S. Renvert, Prof. Dr. M. Sanz and Dr. O. Zuhr. The fact that Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry participated from Turkey at the worldwide scientific program and the only Turkish female Professor participant was Prof. Dr. Bahar Eren Kuru has been an honor on behalf of our University and Faculty.
