In cooperation with TÜBİTAK, Yeditepe University organized science and art workshops for students in Istanbul between October 9th and October 13th within the scope of the project "4007 Science Festivals - Meet Dreams with Science". More than 1,500 primary, secondary and high school students’ dreams were met with science at the Istanbul Science and Art Center in Ataşehir.

Science festivals are held in order to spread science culture and science communication to wider segments of the society, to increase the interest of the society, to encourage children and young people to make a career in all scientific fields, to meet different groups of scientists, and to transmit scientific information in an amusing environment.
Aware of the fact that science and art are gaining importance over the world, Yeditepe University has signed this project to open the doors to science and art for the students in İstanbul.

At the project conducted under the supervision of Yeditepe University Faculty of Education part-time faculty member Dr. Başak Kök., and with the work of the teachers of the Istanbul Science and Arts Center the students of the Faculty of Education, and the contributions of the Atasehir District Directorate of Education, students came closer to understanding science while they had a lot of fun.
