The ‘Make a Wish’ Awards Presented to Owners

The ‘Make a Wish’ Awards which consist of the Best of 2017 and are chosen by Yeditepe University students were presented to their owners. Nominees who were awarded in categories like culture, art, sports, media and internet received their awards in the ceremony at Yeditepe University.

The “Make a Wish” Awards, which is the first awards ceremony held in the field of social responsibility at universities, is celebrating its 6^th year. The wishes of 10 children will be realized with the 30 thousand TL obtained from the event.

As part of the Share my Dream Project, Yeditepe University Share My Dream Community, the representative of the ‘Make a Wish Turkey’ Association, generates projects that realizes dreams of children aged 3-18 struggling with life-threatening diseases.

The ‘Make a Wish’ Volunteers, who since 2009 have been giving hope, been fighting for more and making the impossible possible for children, choose the Best of the Year with surveys held traditionally every year. The revenues collected at the ‘Make a Wish Awards” nights when the "Best of the Year" are chosen are used as source in the projects of the association.

Based on the survey conducted with the participation of more than 5000 Yeditepe students, many famous names who received awards in categories like culture, arts, sports, media and internet came together at Yeditepe University on Monday, March 5^th.
