Early English Books is a unique collection of early printed books in England. The collection makes digital copies of more than 146,000 works printed in the UK before 1700, discoverable. This unique collection; It includes more than 146,000 publications and over 17 million scanned pages in 4 collections, from the first book published in English during the Spenser and Shakespeare eras to the present. Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalog (1475-1640) and Wing's Short-Title Catalog (1641-1700) and their revised editions, as well as the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661) collection and the Early English Books Tract Supplement. EEBO covers more than 20 languages from Algonquin to Welsh. These four collections were part of the original UMI Microfilms Collection Project.
