Joyful Republic Day Celebrations at Yeditepe University

Yeditepe University Atatürkist Thought Club celebrated Republic Day with a variety of activities.

The celebrations started with the participation of Yeditepe students on October 28^th in front of the rectorate building. After a moment of silence and the National Anthem, a folk dance was performed by the university’s Folklore Club. The celebration ended with everyone joining into singing the “10. Yıl” anthem. After the celebrations, the 7^th “Traditional Republic Ball” by the Atatürkist Thought Club took place. At the Ball, which attracted a lot of attention by the students, the Republic was celebrated with joy.

Students from the Yeditepe University Atatürkist Thought Club as well as Yeditepe University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Yusuf Akgün and Yeditepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl participated in the torchlight procession on October 29^th at Bağdat Street.
