The Fashion and Textile Design Department took part in Design Week Turkey 2016

The design world came together at the first Design Week Turkey in Istanbul on 19-23 October 2016.

Design Week Turkey took place at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center and was organized in collaboration with the T.C. Ministry of Economy and TIM (Turkish Exporter’s Assembly). Visitors had the chance to see renowned names from fashion, industrial design and visual communication, international and Turkish exhibitions, Turkish figures who became known globally, products which make a difference in design, the fifth Design Turkey Award and its exhibition, Exporter’s Assembly competition finalists’ exhibition, design offices, design schools and everything about design.

Yeditepe University’s Fashion and Textile Design Department attracted great attentions with its exhibition catalogues, booklets about the department and videos of graduation fashion shows.

The Fashion and Textile Design Department at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center booth was successfully represented by post-graduate scholarship students Pınar Ceylan, Işıl Eraslan ve Bike Başaran.
