Dear Academics and Students
As per the memorandum of the Ministry of Interior Affairs dated 18 November 2020, regarding “New Precautions for the Coronavirus Pandemic”, our citizens who are 20 years of age or younger (born on and after 01.01.2001) are allowed to leave their households between 13:00 and 16:00 and their travel rights are limited other than those hours. Our Foreign Languages Preparatory School Program, of which students are mostly of the aforementioned age range, is decided to continue its educational activities completely online as of 20 November 2020 until 31 December 2020. After the limitations are lifted, the end of term exams of the Foreign Languages Preparatory Programs will be held face-to-face. For students of this age range who continue their education in their bachelor’s degree programs, relevant academic departments will make the necessary arrangements and for students of other age groups, there will be no changes made as everything will move forward as planned at the beginning of the semester. In this period, our student residences will stay open and continue providing services.
It is kindly requested that all our department executives and academics to take all the necessary precautions in order not to mistreat any of our students, as always, in these unprecedented times.
