Computer Engineering Students Receive Most Collaborative Team Title

Yeditepe University Computer Engineering senior students Dilan Fatma Öncevarlık, Mert Kurt and Kemal Doruk Yıldız, who won first prize in Turkey with the project "Machine Learning Technologies" at the "Crystall Ball Microsoft Imagine Cup" project competition, represented our country at the MEA Finals in Beirut Lebanon. The team won the Most Collaborative Team title in the competition.

The team worked for 3 months on the "Machine Learning Technologies" project aiming to increase the sales of companies. The team will continue to work to improve the project after the competition.  The project works as follows: Crystall Ball, a project based on Big Data and Machine Learning, conducts inspections of existing companies' data using Machine Learning algorithm developed by the team, and by finding links that cannot be detected by the human brain gives information about which products and which customer sales will achieve the most success.
