An Award for Prof. Dr. Ahmet Taşağıl

Yeditepe University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Head of History Department Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tasagil was awarded within the scope of the 22nd International Services to the Turkish World Awards.

The annual International Service to the Turkish World Awards 2017 by the Writers and Artists of the Turkish World Foundation have been announced. Taşağıl, who was awarded for his work on “documents and inscriptions on ancient Turkish history like the Göktürk monuments”, will receive the award at a ceremony to be held on 4-6 May at the Niksar district of Tokat, one of the first Turkish settlements in Anatolia.
