TÜSEB 2025 Awards: Special Ceremony Honoring Prof. Dr. Fikrettin Şahin and Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe

In a special ceremony led by our Founder and Honorary President, Mr. Bedrettin Dalan, we came together to honor our distinguished professors, Prof. Dr. Fikrettin Şahin and Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe, whose remarkable achievements in the TÜSEB 2025 Awards have once again filled us with pride.

During the ceremony, plaques were presented to our esteemed professors on behalf of Yeditepe University, in recognition of their exceptional scientific contributions and their respected standing in both the national and international academic community. 

As part of the TÜSEB Awards, the TÜSEB Special Award, prepared in memory of the world-renowned neurosurgeon Ordinarius Prof. Dr. Gazi Yaşargil, was presented this year to Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe. This year’s Aziz Sancar Science Award was awarded to Prof. Dr. Fikrettin Şahin.

The valuable work of our professors—crowned with the TÜSEB Aziz Sancar Science Award and the TÜSEB Special Award—has become one of the strongest indicators of their dedication to science.
