The book "The City and the Myth," which presents the outcomes of the workshop on Çanakkale held during the Summer Semester of 2022, has been published and edited by Dr. Giuseppe Resta from the Department of Architecture.
This book encompasses the findings of an international workshop conducted as part of the COST Action Writing Urban Places during an international conference in July 2022. The workshop, focusing on the narration methods of urban development in mid-scale cities of Europe, analyzed the visible and invisible connections between the city and the myth from Istanbul to Çanakkale. The event was hosted by the Faculty of Architecture at Yeditepe University in collaboration with the Çanakkale Wars Gallipoli Historical Site Presidency.
The book also includes articles from members of the Department of Architecture who participated in the workshop, namely Dr. Berna Gol, Dr. Burçin Başyazıcı, and Dr. Aslan Nayeb.
