The 3rd High School Summer School organized by Yeditepe University Continuous Education Center for the purpose of enabling the high school students to learn about the professions they might be interested in took place between July 2nd – 4th.
This year, during the course of the school, which was attended by 42 students, the students had a good time in the campus environment, learning about the future professions they were planning to do and their training. Students who interactively received information about professions via laboratory applications took two hours of English classes a day from the University of Waterloo in Canada teachers apart from their academic courses
Throughout the school, students participating in social responsibility projects, sporting activities and student club organizations had the opportunity to get to know the business life closely in business trips. As a part of the social responsibility tour, students who visited the elderly at Darülaceze participated in a "Karaoke", "Treasure Hunt" and cinema events together with the Science Fiction Club, dance workshops with the Dance Club, concert activities with the Music Club and photography with the Photography Club Art.
Weekend Boat Tour
As part of the Summer School, students traveled the Bosphorus at a boat tour organized by Yeditepe University on the weekend and had a pleasant time with English teachers, mentors and friends.
During the ceremony held on the last day of the summer school, students received an English and Turkish certificate of completion from Yeditepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl.
