Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences 23 Mechanical Engineering Doctoral Program With its young staff, the Mechanical Engineering Department places importance to R&D and cooperation with the industry and carries out its qualified doctoral program in this line. High engineers who work in R&D and design units of Istanbul ' s major industrial establishments and study at our doctoral program choose to work on dissertations that contribute to their workplaces. This process strengthens this mutual cooperation.
