Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences 1 Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Our school is carrying out doctoral and master programs in physics, mathematics, computer engineering, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, industrial and systems engineering and materials and nanotechnology engineering. In addition, there is non-thesis master ' s degree program in Pilotage carried out in collaboration with the AFA Flight Academy. We have more than 600 registered students. Up to now more than 40 doctoral and 400 master’s degrees have been awarded. The common goal of the graduate programs at our school is to train qualified researchers. All of our departments are equipped with state-of-the-art application and research laboratories. Our robust laboratory infrastructure allows for thesis studies in increasingly important interdisciplinary fields. Our programs benefit from a pool of common elective courses and can offer a variety of courses. Encouraging and coordinating collaborations with universities abroad is among the strategic goals of the School. Our faculty members consist of experienced as well as young researchers. Our faculty members actively carry out TÜBİTAK / European Union Research Funds and Industry supported research projects. In addition to the projects carried out, our faculty members also provide consultancy services to a wide range of institutions and organizations. Our alumni are active researchers at universities, scientific research institutions, industry and AR-GE centers in Turkey and abroad.
