84 The aim is to provide the students with a general knowledge about the discipline and the historical process and the fields of work of anthropology. The aim is to give information about theorists having contributed to the field from the emergence of the discipline of anthropology to the present, about their approaches and research methods and to have knowledge about some of the interests of anthropology. Students are expected to shape their research on a topic of interest and appropriate research, and submit their research as a graduation thesis in the fourth year. Enriched with elective courses, the program aims to provide students with the ability to use both theoretical and practical knowledge in addressing and evaluating social issues by asking them to explore and read published ethnographies as well as courses aimed at improving analytical thinking skills.
