EFP provides an accreditation that aims and maintains the education of Periodontology and Implantology in similar quality standards throughout Europe. EFP accreditation was renewed in 2013 and 2022. Since 2005, the department has represented Turkey and Turkish Periodontology on its own in European programs and dentists graduated from the department are accepted as Periodontology and Implantology Specialists in Europe, having an opportunity for a career in Europe. Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry is also accredited by an audit visit by Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) in 2007. The aim of this association is to have inhouse audits for standardization, quality assurance and excellence, and provide input for development and corrections. Our faculty had a visit by ADEE in 2008 and the accreditation obtained is a first for Turkey and a great honor for our Faculty. 170 Major Departments Faculty of Dentistry
