My aim was to become an SAP consultant and with the trust and support of our academics, I was able to find an internship in that field easily. With the strong communication skills and knowledge that my department presented me with, I started working as an SAP consultant in a global consultancy firm. When I look back, I realize how accurate my decision was. I had the best experiences of my education life with the support provided by Yeditepe University and our department professors. In 2021, I studied at a university in the Netherlands for a semester within the scope of the Erasmus programme. I can say that this period abroad contributed a lot to me both academically and socially. At the same time, I had my first internship experience at Intellica in the summer of the 3rd year with the guidance of our department head. With all these valuable experiences, I started working in the field of Cyber Security at Arçelik, one of Turkey’s largest companies, before graduating. As I approach the end of my undergraduate life, I can clearly see that the variety of courses in the Department of Management Information Systems gives us a great opportunity to meet the competencies sought in today’s world and to offer job opportunities in many sectors.
