The Department of Physics not only provides the academic power to contribute to the rapidly developing technology, but also educates graduates who have the skills, education, knowledge, analytical and critical thinking power to respond to a large part of the fields required by the Turkish industry. In today’s world where interdisciplinary work, cooperation and globalisation are gaining importance, university graduates are expected to adapt to the business environment and be flexible with their technical expertise. Due to the increasing co-operation between universities, government laboratories and industrial organisations, graduates must also be able to work in the fields that arise from the growing scientific orientation towards high technology. The Physics programme is an innovative undergraduate programme designed with an industrial outlook and designed to ensure that graduates can easily find jobs as physicists in industrial production and government laboratories. Our department has an interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary programme that combines courses that meet the basic criteria of physics with elective/obligatory courses in areas such as computerised data analysis, software, health physics, electronics, materials science, chemistry, nuclear physics, metrology, nanophysics and astrophysics. During their undergraduate education, students graduate by completing 90 physics experiments in our department laboratories. 75% of our students are on a scholarship Accredited by FEDEK and TÜRKAK Dual Diploma agreement with Coe College of the USA 102 Physics
