The Department of Philosophy aims to raise students with the necessary qualifications to see humans, concepts and events in a “philosophical” way, act with their own values, and contribute to the efforts on Philosophy in Turkish or at least one other language. The department also provides its students with a curriculum in which they can use the languages they know effectively within philosophy, and make unique contributions to Turkish and international philosophy studies in Turkish language of philosophy.
