Faculty of Engineering

Since the day I started Yeditepe University, Biomedical Engineering Department, I think I have developed myself and trained as a good engineer. In addition, I think, hospital facilities that our department has which are rare in Turkey and courses directing the students to their ultimate goals contributed to my success. The reason I chose Yeditepe University was the fact that it was one of the limited number of schools that had a Biomedical Engineering Department. During my education, I had plenty of theoretical and practical courses. By conducting voluntary and mandatory internships, I was able to observe what awaits me after my graduation and at the beginning of my career. I also organized dozens of events on national and international levels with the clubs I was a part of. In 2018, in IEEE Women in Engineering contest, held worldwide and participated by the most prominent universities of the world, thanks to the efforts we exhibited at Yeditepe with my team, we received the “Student Society of the Year” award for the first time as a Turkish student club.
