Having a strong engineering program prepared according to international standards and includes theoretical and algorithmic theories required for computer hardware basics, data communication and computer networks, systemand application software, our Computer Engineering department has been accredited by the Association for Evaluation and A ccreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK), recognized by EUR- ACE by the end of 2024 academic year for a period of 5 years for the third time. Our students have the opportunity to conduct research and develop projects on the subjects they are interested in with 8 general-purpose and 9 customized research laboratories within the department. Biomedical Engineering is a department that serves as a bridge between engineering and medical sciences and provides engineering solutions to medical problems by applying engineering principles to the fields of medicine and biology. Our department aims to train biomedical engineers who can diagnose engineering problems accurately as well as design, manufacture, maintain and repair devices, instruments, materials, and systems used in the diagnosis and treatment of health. Our department is one of the first programs in the biomedical field inTurkey.Thestudentscancarry out research activities thanks to biomedical electronics, biomedical instrumentation, biomaterials, microprocessors, optical spectroscopy andmedical imaging laboratories of our department. The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers balanced and practice-based training covering all topics of electrical and electronic engineering including design and application with its undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.
