Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary department that serves as a bridge between engineering and medical sciences, and provides engineering solutions to medical problems by applying engineering principles to the fields of medicine and biology. Our department aims to train biomedical engineers who can diagnose engineering problems accurately, design, manufacture, maintain and repair devices, instruments, materials and systems used in the diagnosis and treatment of health. Our department is one of the first programs in the biomedical field in Turkey. Biomedical Engineering Program, which is carried out by dynamic academics, who are experts in their fields, who have experience abroad and actively take part in many projects, mainly covers the teaching of engineering principles used in solving problems in the field of biology and medicine. 57% of our students are on scholarship.
