Department of English Language Teaching Thesis Master’s Program in English Language Teaching Non-Thesis Master’s Program in English Language Teaching Doctorate Program in English Language Teaching Our Master’s programs aim to improve the quality of English language teaching in our country by providing support for professional development of experienced English teachers. During the program, candidates work on theoretical issues in language teaching and their applications in the classroom environment. Candidates also gain the knowledge and skills to help them specialize in subjects such as English Language Education, teacher education, assessment and evaluation of language teaching, material development and teaching English to young learners. The aim of the PhD Program is to specialize candidates in the field of foreign language teacher education and acquire research skills to contribute to this field. In the program theory and practice are presented in a balanced way. Graduates of the program can contribute to pre-service and in-service teacher training programs, or they can work as lecturers in related departments of universities.
