Computer Engineering Department of Computer Engineering aims to train engineers who have sufficient knowledge in mathematics, science and Computer Engineering, can apply theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas for modeling and solving engineering problems, and have knowledge about the universal and social effects of Computer Engineering applications on health, environment and safety and contemporary problems. MÜDEK Accredited Curriculum Our department has a strong engineering program prepared according to international standards and includes theoretical and algorithmic theories required for computer hardware basics, data communication and computer networks, system and application software. The program has been accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK), recognized by EUR-ACE by the end of 2024 academic year for a period of 5 years for the third time. Our students have the opportunity to conduct research and develop projects on the subjects they are interested in with 8 general-purpose and 10 customized research laboratories in the department. 51% of our students are on scholarship.
