Being a graduate of Yeditepe University Civil Engineering and being a department assistant for a certain period of time enabled me to continue my career journey with a scientific understanding with a global perspective. The richness of programmes in accordance with international standards within the faculty and an understanding of education on a global scale enabled me to take part in international projects throughout my career. Thanks to my academic career experience at the university, I am equipped to question with an academic perspective in my business life and to use business development methods comfortably. Yeditepe University Civil Engineering Department, with its effective and competent academicians, provides us students with the necessary infrastructure for analytical thinking and how we can use the knowledge we have learnt in business life. Thanks to the well-equipped laboratories of our department, we have the chance to practically observe the theoretical knowledge we learn in the courses. With the career weeks and seminars organised, we have the opportunity to interact with the leading names of the sector and expand our network. In addition to these, thanks to the large campus and large green area of our university, we make our breaks between classes enjoyable.
