Faculty of Engineering

270 This year consists of basic engineering and introductory courses. In addition, academic English classes are also included in the program for our students. Applied vocational courses (Microbiology, Cell Biology, Classical and Molecular Genetics) are mainly taught in laboratories. In addition to this, courses supporting Organic Chemistry and Bio macromolecules, Biometrics, Numerical and Statistical Methods for Bioengineering Applications and Analytical Chemistry are given. There are Biochemistry (I-II), Genetic Engineering Techniques (I-II) and Experimental Genetics and Bioengineering (I: Principles) courses aiming to make students specialize in their fields. In addition, courses in bioengineering such as Bio thermodynamics and Bio Transport Events are given. Students do their summer internship at the end of this year. In this way, they can acquire practical and technical new skills in different domestic and international institutions and organizations; and recognize business life and be able to communicate effectively with other disciplines and administrators. Molecular Biology (I-II), Experimental Genetics and Bioengineering (II: Design and Applications), Bioprocess Engineering Techniques and genetics and bioengineering courses. YEAR YEAR YEAR YEAR Academic Education Year by Year Engineering Project course is given to senior students so that they can apply their knowledge and skills learnt during their undergraduate education and use their creativity. In this course, students prepare a comprehensive project by working under the consultancy of a faculty member in the laboratory. The studies are delivered as a poster to all department members and as a graduation thesis at the end of the semester. Genetics and Bioengineering
