Faculty of Engineering

The real success story for me is that Yeditepe University has taught me never to give up. When I started taking Chemical Engineering courses, I felt how successful I was going to be in the department. The department was based on more math and creativity than I expected; but I really liked it. I decided to do DMP with System Engineering because I thought it would improve my engineering perspective. In 2011, I graduated with honors from both departments. On this path, which I started with the dream of studying Chemical Engineering, I am completing my undergraduate degree as an individual who has developed myself both socially and academically by having competent knowledge about the fundamentals of chemical engineering and taking part in research projects on bone tissue engineering with our valuable faculty members and graduate students in the research laboratories of our school during my undergraduate education. During my undergraduate education, I gained the competence of interdisciplinary work, I had the opportunity to determine the position and sector I targeted in my engineering career by observing the different application areas of chemical engineering on the pharmaceutical and aerospace industry in my compulsory and voluntary internships with the support of our university, and I say “I am glad to be at Yeditepe” in the Department of Chemical Engineering, where theoretical and practical education is integrated.
