The Department of Interior Architecture aims to raise interior architects who are able to carry out the design of spaces by focusing on human, determine the needs of the users through environmental analysis, design the spaces within the framework of the psychological and emotional needs of the users with participatory design processes, conceptualize their designs with critical interrogations within the current theories, have acquired knowledge and technical know-how required to realize the spaces designed in international professional standards, keep pace with the technology and have confidence in designing and working independently. The department aims to develop a vision for a healthy and sustainable future while encouraging creative and critical thinking, introduce the functioning of the design process, and provide the infrastructure for the application of the given information to complex interior systems. The department syllabus supports technical and scientific competence, design- oriented and interdisciplinary thinking, the development of an innovative perspective and the encouragement of creativity. INTERIOR %6',-8)'896) URBAN DESIGN AND 0%2(7'%4) %6',-8)'896) The Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture aims to train qualified planners and designers who are needed to overcome the increasing disconnection between nature and human in the rapid urbanization process of the modern world. Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, which deals with the environment as a whole, including design, development, planning and management issues, is one of the most suitable areas for interdisciplinary work among design professions. Urban Design and Landscape Architecture aims to create living environments for people and other living creatures while preserving ecological relations and cultural values. It combines the structural design skills of architecture, scientific principles of engineering, urban planning approach and basic subjects of natural sciences with the aim of creating liveable, functional, and aesthetic designs.
