We sent our Graduates to their New Lives

Yeditepe University, Turkey's largest foundation university, said goodbye to 3 thousand 801 graduates equipped with the knowledge and technology of the times at graduation ceremonies held between July 3 and 7.

There was great excitement and enthusiasm at Yeditepe University's ceremonies for the graduates of 13 faculties and institutes during the week. The ceremonies, in which the families of the graduates participated in great numbers, took place in the activity area at the university campus.

The ceremony where plaques were awarded to students who graduated with high degrees in the 2016-2017 academic year was held on July 7th Friday.

An Honorary Doctorate to Eldar Ismayilov's

At the ceremony, an honorary doctoral diploma was awarded to Prof. Dr. Erdal Ismayilov, the Founding President of Azerbaijan Dede Korkut International National Foundation, by Bedrettin Dalan, the Founding President of Yeditepe University, by the decision of Yeditepe University Senate of Yeditepe University.

Bedrettin Dalan: "You are my Dream"​

Yeditepe University Founder President Bedrettin Dalan, in his speech, said to the graduates, "You are my dream," and continued "I get my energy from you, the energy that Atatürk got from the youth continues. I cannot really imagine a happier person than me. I live this happiness every year.”

Emphasizing that the greatest achievement is that the person is at peace with himself and that he can get peace of mind, Bedrettin Dalan continued as follows:

"The most important reason for having inner peace is being self-reliant, standing strong and fighting against difficulties, never giving up, never losing hope, and walking to where you have put your dream and your goals. While walking, sometimes a person might get tired, might take a break but he should never stray off his path. That is what Atatürk expects from us"

Following the speeches, Yusuf Akgün, President of the Board of Trustees and Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl as well as faculty deans and department heads gave plaques to 205 graduate who received degrees in the academic year of 2016-2017.
