Doğuş Şahin, a 23-year-old newly graduated from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, has caused great pride for the Yeditepe family. Doğuş is working within the team of Daniel Human, the famous chef of Nomad, the famous restaurant of The Nomad hotel in New York, which was voted the best restaurant in the world in the past week. Sahin, who works with the best chefs in the world after graduation, meets with the leaders of the food-and-drink sector traveling from Turkey to New York and constantly exchanges ideas.
Having achieved success just after his recent graduation, Şahin's biggest dream is to return to Istanbul and open a restaurant where he can receive international awards and make Istanbul an international gastronomic destination.
