Yeditepe University received awards in two different categories at the 28th Young Communicators Competition organized by the Aydın Doğan Foundation
Yeditepe University Faculty of Communication students were given two awards at the competition, which aims to contribute to the education of quality media workers. 1295 students from Communication Faculties of 37 universities competed in Written, Visual, Audio, Advertisement, Public Relations and Online Publishing categories, and the Selection Committees deemed 66 projects of 108 students from 20 universities worthy of the award
In the written news-layout category, Journalism 3rd year student Ozan Oğuz Kurt won third prize. In the online publishing category, Journalism 3rd year student Doruk Demirüstü, Seray Yücel, Visual Communication and Design 4th year student Uğur Özdemir and Radio Television and Cinema student 4th year student Buğrahan Top won first prize for their internet site project minimalistfil.com.
The ceremony was joined by Yeditepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl, Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. İlker Bıçakçı, Faculty of Communication Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Berrin Yanıkkaya, Faculty of Communication Journalism Department Academic Member Assist.
