Faculty of Fine Arts Theater Department graduate Şükran Aktı was awarded the Behlül Dal Young Talent Award at the 54th International Antalya Film Festival for her successful performance in the film "Zor Karar". In cooperation with TÜBİTAK, Yeditepe University organized science and art workshops for students in Istanbul between October 9th and October 13th within the scope of the project "4007 Science Festivals - Meet Dreams with Science". The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) mentioned on their website our university’s “World Food Day" event organized on October 16th simultaneously with the FAO as a result of the application of Yeditepe University Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department. Our university is the only university in Turkey that has been mentioned on FAO’s website this year. www.fao.org

2017-2018 Academic Year "White Coat Ceremony" of 1st Grade Students started with Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tülay Baran's opening speech. After the speech of Faculty of Dentistry Dean Prof. Dr. R. Figen Kaptan, plaques were presented to our students who graduated in the academic year 2016-2017. Our first year students who took the first steps into the Dentistry profession caused moments of pride for both their families and us by wearing their white coats after the plaque ceremony.
